Potomac 2007 Judge's Critique

 Gullah was shown by his breeder Marion Daniel

Black Bred By Exhibitor Dog - wonderful class of superb dogs to judge, split for choice, listening back to my critique I can recall how much I enjoyed judging this class of quality black dogs, 1 & 2 were stunning, both in outline and construction and had topline and tail sets to die for, slightly different in head but equally full of type and very much Labradors

Gullah placed #2 - everything I would want to see in a young two year old dog, such a beautiful head with lovely eye colour and expression, for nose to tail all Labrador in both type and temperament, really excels in front with long sloping well placed shoulders, well let down hocks, carrying the correct amount of weight for h is frame, went so very well around the ring, true positive movement, could have awarded two first places here without a doubt.
